Storm Chase, NE Colorado, Western Nebraska

Supercell over the town of Dix, NE,
an encounter with the NSSL (National Severe Storm Laboratory) Project Vortex,
and an HP Supercell which dropped some impressive hail on us.

Picturesque storm in eastern Colorado, just west of Kansas

A little wind, a little rain, a little hail, then
some nice rainbows and mammatus clouds over the prairie.

Tornadic Supercell, east/central South Dakota

We got in front of the storm, and got some good shots
as it dropped baseball-sized hail just north of us, and F2 damage in a few locations.
Stayed with it for over an hour, until it was too dark to safely chase it.

Southeast Kansas, pursuing a rotating supercell. Left the paved road, and got into some of the slickest mud I've ever seen. Four-wheel-drive made no difference at all. Ended up in a ditch, calling AAA for a tow. While we waited, we snagged the tornado. Fortunately, it wasn't headed our way.
